Prof. Ioana Grozea
She is a professor, department of Biology and Plant Protection, Banat's University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine “King Michael I of Romania”, Timisoara, Romania. Her professional experience is mainly focused in the field of Plant Protection expressed through didactic activities in Invasive Insect Monitoring and Applied Entomology but also through the management of various research projects in the agricultural and horticultural field. She works as a PhD supervisor for many students with theses focusing on invasive species, plant-insect interaction, biological control, and modeling monitoring. The results are highlighted by scientific publications in influential publishers and journals. She is also an Editorial board member and reviewer for various journals indexed in prestigious databases, member of numerous professional organizations and expert evaluator/monitor for national and international projects.
